How to join
IronSift is invite-only. First the owner adds your Minecraft name to the whitelist, then pick your device below.
- Get the CurseForge app. Download it free from curseforge.com/download/app and sign in.
- Make a profile. Pick Minecraft, then Create Custom Profile. Game version
26.3, loaderFabric(latest). - Add The Swift. Open the profile, choose Add More Content, search The Swift (âFan-Made Siftâ) and install it. Also install Fabric API if it isn't added for you.
- Play. Hit Play, then Multiplayer â Add Server. Address:
ironsift.gamingworld.uk
âMod rejectionsâ or âincompatibleâ errors mean the versions don't match: game 26.3, Fabric, The Swift 1.1.0.
- Phones and tablets can't load The Swift, so they join IronSift Classic (no mods). Ask the owner to switch it on.
- Open Minecraft, tap Play, then the Servers tab, then Add Server.
- Address
ironsift.gamingworld.uk, port19132. Save and join.
Consoles only show their own featured servers, so there's nowhere to type an address. Ask the owner for help: there are workarounds, and the PC version is the best way to play The Swift.

IronSift runs The Swift, a fan-made dimension full of music, white willows and things that go bump in the dark.

Spooky season
Pumpkins are out on IronSift. A few ideas for the spookiest week of the year:
- Carve a jack-o'-lantern. Shears on a pumpkin, then a torch. Line your path with them.
- Build a haunted house. Cobwebs, soul lanterns and dark oak make anything creepy.
- Go Swift-hunting at night. The willows look even stranger after dark.
- Pumpkin heads. Wear a carved pumpkin as a helmet. Endermen leave you alone.
For parents
Invite-only
Nobody gets in unless the owner adds their account by hand. The server isn't listed anywhere public and hides who is online.
Real accounts
Only genuine Microsoft accounts can connect, so nobody can pretend to be someone else.
Watched chat
Chat is logged and reviewed by the owner, who can mute, kick or ban. There's no voice chat.
Almost no data
We keep only the Minecraft name needed to let someone in. No real names, emails or photos.
